To start your child’s sports experience in a healthy and positive manner. We want your child to be motivated and inspired by the sport of soccer through an encouraging and fun team environment.
- Introducing players to the very basics of soccer in a high-energy, fun environment through interactive and creative games.
- Each session kicks off with a fun group warm-up, followed by activities led by your team’s coach at your field.
- Teams will participate in all events together.
- This program will heavily rely on parent involvement at the beginning of the season. Oftentimes players are shy and do not want to leave their parents’ side. We encourage parent participation until your player is ready to play without you.
- Please note: we will try to incorporate the use of a soccer ball as much as possible. There may be drills that do not include the ball or variations where you can use the ball but do not necessarily have to. Activities and drills with non-soccer related items such as bubbles, parachutes, bouncy balls and soccer related items such as cones and poly-spots work on building skills needed for balance, coordination, listening, running, tracking, kicking and changing directions. So, while it may not seem soccer related initially, even drills and activities without a ball are all building blocks players will need to play soccer.
